Brief
In 2021 we were approached to create a line of knitwear for ABBA Voyage, the long-awaited virtual concert from one of the biggest pop acts of all time. The products needed to resonate with the ABBA audience whilst driving awareness of the new cutting edge show and showcasing ABBA’s trademark flare for flamboyant fashion.
Design
We trawled the ABBA archives exploring images from the ABBA museum as well as diving into the legendary band’s fashion history to create a collection of knitwear inspired by the ABBA’s vivacious style from chequered summer sweats through to classy Christmas knits. flamboyant fashion.
Result
We supplied all the knitwear for the ABBA Voyage concert including blankets, summer vests, scarves, beanies and their Christmas jumper which was worn by none other than Björn Ulvaeus himself and Sir Ian Mckellen. The knitwear received press coverage in the BBC during the opening of the concert and we continue to work with ABBA Voyage designing and producing their entire knitwear range.
